hiiiii! my name is syn, but i go by tv, or kiddo on the interwebs :D i'm a 19 year old marketing student and barista living in the southern part of the US of A. i started this site in early december 2023 because i was very sick and tired of instagram. i came across this episode of LoveWeb by user Shadok, and it inspired me to make a neocities page! I had some experience coding, i went to coding summer camps as a kid, i made some janky games using flash and scratch and some cringeworthy minecraft mods/texturepacks that luckily only exist in little flash drives that will never see the light of day again. but i was never really passionate in any of it until the realization that i could share my art and interests somewhere other than the annoying 3 social media sites i had grown used to rotating between. i truly hate the core web, and having my own personal website gives me control over how MY internet looks.

Beyond site stuff, i love Taylor Swift and pop punk/emo music, i think edm and trance are also mega cool.
apparently i've got ADHD and chronic fatigue syndrome which basically means i want to do a bunch of things all at once, but the only thing i ever end up doing is sleeping...
I love art. I don't draw as much as i used to, but that's okay because i get to explore so many other mediums! as a kid, i thought the only/best way to share stories was to become an animator for like disney channel or cartoon network or nickelodeon. so that was my dream. but tbh, i think the only fun part of art for me is getting to tell stories. and i feel like by high school, i had a crisis over the realization that i dont want to draw for other people as a job. that sounds like a nightmare to me. cue a lot of years of hating myselelf bc i thought i was a fake artist because sitting in a desk 8 hours a day drawing for pixar didn't sound fun.
I have since learned that there are so many ways to tell a story! I became really inspired by Taylor Swift because there's an artist that can tell stories on their own terms, in their own way! I love making comic zines, painting, remixing music, writing, and doing all kinds of art to express myself, BEYOND just drawing.
it's really, um. freeing.
